Our 2024 annual church survey results are in!

From the feedback pastors and leaders shared, one area really stands out to me. Our client churches reported an increase in men involved in spiritual growth activities beyond worship services (45%) AND in men living out their faith through service or ministry (42%).

These data points are connected with our vision at Man in the Mirror for every man to reflect honestly, pursue God wholeheartedly, and live vibrantly.

Praise God for the times He allows us to see the fruit of our ministry!

SoIN Scramble

Teeing Up Transformation

The 2nd Annual SoIN Scramble was a great success! 76 golfers joined us on June 29th to help Tee Up Transformation in the lives of men. Three dozen of those participants were introduced to our mission for the very first time. The feedback was overwhelmingly positive, with the majority of respondents stating the event was EXCELLENT!

We raised over $4500 that will go directly towards the work of men's discipleship here in Southern Indiana. This was in large part thanks to more than two dozen incredible sponsors.

There were also 15 amazing volunteers who helped make the day go smoothly, and 20+ churches were represented.

The vision for the future is that 15% of our annual budget will be raised through the SoIN Scramble to augment the incredible generosity of our team of financial partners. Furthermore, the mission of Man in the Mirror will be broadcast through the SoIN Scramble which will be a premiere event for the networking of disciple-minded leaders all across Southern Indiana.

Deeper Engagement Bears Fruit

In the Annual Church Survey, we ask how engaged a church has been with its Area Director. We know that the more engaged a church is, and the longer they work with an Area Director, the more success they experience in making disciples of their men.

A great example is a church I have been working with for the past three years. Safe Harbor has developed a strong "Three Strands of Leadership," with a pastor who is intentional about discipling men, a Men's Discipleship Leader who truly cares about making disciples, and a team of men who are supporting the discipleship efforts of the church.

Pastor Rich shared with me that their men's leader, Eric, has increasing influence with men both inside and outside the church. The team members have all been trained in No Man Left Behind, and have developed their "elevator speeches" to help cast vision to the men of the church.

The results of their efforts are significant. In just the past year, they've seen a more than 35% increase in the number of men attending. They have more than doubled the number of men involved in discipleship. More men are placing their faith in Christ, getting involved in spiritual growth, and living out their faith through service.

Thanks to their deep level of engagement and intentional efforts, the team at Safe Harbor is seeing firsthand how discipleship changes everything!

Financial Update

It is an amazing testament to God's provision and the generosity of our partners that I have been funded as a full-time Area Director for four years.

For the ministry year July 2023 - June 2024, including monthly recurring partners, special gifts, End-of-Year campaign, and the SoIN Scramble, we were 100% funded!

This is a HUGE blessing and I am truly grateful!

However, in January 2025 I will need to increase my salary due to minimum federal standards. In order to do this, I'm praying for 10 new partners at an average of $100/month.

As I meet with potential partners to share our ministry and invite them to join in our mission, please be praying with me. If you know of individuals who would resonate with our vision, I would be grateful for an introduction.
