GUIDING MEN TOWARDS THE GOODNESS AND GRACE OF GOD
MARCH 2024 - ISSUE 28
“The first step to every great outcome is to imagine its possibility.”
In 2022 we began to reimagine our possibility at Man in the Mirror. Until then, our vision stated: For every church to disciple every man.
We still imagine that possibility and desire to see it happen, but our reimagined vision better expresses our clear mental image. Our vision now reads: For every man to REFLECT honestly, PURSUE God wholeheartedly, and LIVE vibrantly.
That’s where we endeavor to go, and hope you will go with us. But how?
That brings us to our mission, or how we plan to get where we’re going. In the past, we described our mission as serving pastors, equipping leaders, transforming men. Again, we’re still committed to those important steps, but our new mission better encompasses the breadth of our ministry:
Man in the Mirror equips Christian men around the world to engage in meaningful relationships that change lives and build the kingdom of God.
Thank you for supporting the mission that moves us closer to the outcomes we’ve imagined.
In Christ,
Nate Flynn
Building a flourishing team for Greater'er Impact!
Reunion 2024 did not disappoint! I was grateful for the time together with my brothers in the field.
As you can imagine, building camaraderie and cohesiveness is challenging when your co-workers are states apart, yet the bond we have is strong because of our passion for the mission we are engaged in together.
This was evident in a recent survey conducted of our team by Best Christian Workplaces. An overwhelming majority of our team is motivated to put in the extra effort to help our ministry succeed.
Over the course of the next year, we will be working with BCW to grow as a flourishing workplace, attract top talent to our team, and increase our kingdom impact.
We are praying to the Lord of the Harvest!
The Lord has really been blessing our ministry thus far in 2024 and is answering our prayers for FULLY COMMITTED men, leaders, and churches who are willing to go ALL IN on men’s discipleship.
Several churches have moved into Action Plan status after a year or more of building relationships. More and more churches are reaching out to me looking for help.
This is great news, but it also means my geographic boundaries are growing - even stretching into Kentucky. A great problem to have, but one that highlights the need for a strong partner base and additional Area Directors in Indiana and beyond.
Please continue to pray for the Lord’s provision, and THANK YOU for being part of our team of partners to pursue men’s hearts with the gospel!

The Kingdom of God is never dull to be a part of. One thing I love is when true believers encounter one another, we have an immediate bond through Christ.
While at the playground with my kids on a recent family vacation that a partner blessed us with, I met Pastor Jim Frease.
Pastor Jim leads Joy Church near Nashville, TN and is passionate about equipping fathers to mentor their sons. He sent me some books he had written and his church even blessed my ministry with a financial gift.
Praise the Lord for "chance" encounters!
Last fall our Man in the Mirror founder, Patrick Morley, officially retired after serving several years as Executive Director.
Yet, he has not left the organization or ministry behind. He is just as busy as ever writing, speaking, and engaging men through discipleship.

THANK YOU FOR YOUR PRAYERS! THEY MATTER AND MEAN SO MUCH TO ME!
